The four gameplay pillars

VEOM Studio's official description splits the game into four loops:

  1. Construct & automate — build a huge factory on and beneath the lunar surface, mine valuable resources, design production lines and automate them with programmable conveyor splitters and innovative lunar transport.
  2. Explore & exploit — form transport teams and organize scientific and rescue expeditions to remote objects, abandoned buildings and unique geological formations.
  3. Trade & influence — receive trade orders from Earth's biggest corporations and most powerful nations; speculate on demand for long-term profit or invest surpluses in mega-projects.
  4. Survive & colonize — balance infrastructure, resources and your team of lunar colonists to secure humanity's survival.

The Steam "About" adds the systems detail: power the base with satellites and batteries, unlock advancements across three research trees, deploy rover expeditions, and keep colonists' health, mood and needs in check — their unique traits and skills drive production and research.

Story frame

The official gameplay trailer sets the scene: Earth is "once bursting with life, now struggling for breath", and humanity "decided to colonize the moon" to lay the foundations of a new home. The launch trailer opens with mission control dialogue — "Alice to MT Logistics, grant us landing permission" — as your drones touch down. The 1.0 release completed this story campaign with multiple endings.

Background

VEOM Studio ran a Kickstarter campaign with backer perks including early testing access, a colonist named after the player, and a unique developer module. A playable version of the campaign loop (tutorial plus storyline) was already being streamed by creators in July 2024 — one full Let's Play of the release-day build runs nearly five hours — before the 1.0 launch added Planning Mode, a road tool, a leaderboard, Sandbox 2.0, global events and the completed multi-ending campaign on September 10, 2026.
